Andrea Pinnavaia

Andrea Pinnavaia is the Campus Minister for Liturgy and Pinnavaia headshot.JPGFaith Formation at St. John’s University in Queens, NY. She earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Theology from St. John’s University where she has worked since 2008. In her current role, she oversees liturgical and sacramental needs at St. Thomas More Church and works with the Catholic Scholars, a four-year developmental scholarship program for St. John’s students who seek to put their faith into action and serve as leaders for the Church in their futures. She also serves as an adjunct professor in the department of Theology and Religious Studies, teaching various courses in systematic theology.

In addition, Andrea is active in the Boy Scouts of America – she volunteers as a member of the troop committee for Boy Scout troop 237 at Holy Name of Jesus parish in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. She is a parishioner at Good Shepherd Parish where she has been a member of the Chancel Choir for 14 years. She attended Good Shepherd School and St. Saviour High School, and lives in Marine Park, Brooklyn with her husband, Colin.
